Terms and Conditions

• Regulation and best practice in Australia dictate that any person or organisation fundraising must have an ‘authority to fundraise’. The Third-Party Fundraiser is not authorised to use Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland as its beneficiary charity until it has received an authorisation letter from Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland. On receiving and approval of your application (this may take 5-10 working days), an Authority to Fundraise letter will be provided. Please note you cannot start fundraising until a letter of authority has been issued by Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland.
• The event/fundraiser must meet the requirements of relevant State and Territory laws and regulations. The information you give Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland must be available to regulatory authorities on request. Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland does not provide legal advice regarding compliance with these laws and regulations.
• Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland is unable to provide public liability insurance cover to Third-Party Fundraisers. Third-Party Fundraisers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and clearances required by local and state government and complying with all applicable laws. Third-party fundraisers must also obtain appropriate insurance coverage as necessary.
• Management of the event is your sole responsibility. Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland is not able to take a coordination role in these activities and its officers cannot assist in soliciting prizes, organising publicity, or providing goods or services to assist the Fundraiser in the running of the fundraiser/event.
• The financial aspects of fundraising, raffles, record keeping and management of the fundraiser/event are entirely the responsibility of the Third-Party Fundraiser and the Third-Party Fundraiser must comply with the relevant State or Territory laws and regulations.
• We are happy to share our Ronald McDonald House Charities South East logo however its use must be approved by the Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland team beforehand, please email fundraising.seq@rmhc.org.au with your request.
